Ash Wednesday Service

The season of Lent is about opportunities to bring us closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ. In the past, we have “given things up” for Lent, but often that was more about us than our Lord. The original purpose was to give up our selfish wants so that we had more to give to God. God doesn’t need the things of this world; He wants you.

We start our Lenten journey with a Service of Confession and Commitment on Wednesday, March 2nd at 7 p.m. As a sign of our commitment, we will receive the traditional ashes. We will share our service with our sister congregation, Iglesia Santisma Trinadad. Pastor Joses Galvez will bring our message for this holy day.

Many say they will follow Jesus, Lent gives the opportunity to prove it.

Starting on Wednesday March 9th at 7 p.m., we will continue our journey, by following in the footsteps of  Jesus through worship, hymns, prayers, scripture as we are lead by Pastor Baker through the modern homeland of our Savior.

Each Wednesday of Lent, through sights and sounds, we will join the journey of Jesus through Israel with stories and pictures of Pastor Baker’s trip through the Holy Land.
