Minutes for All Saints Church Council
Call to Order
A monthly meeting of the All Saints Church Council was held on May 19, 2022 at All Saints
Lutheran Church. The meeting was presided over by Art Mory, Council President-Elect. A
quorum was declared by Art Mory.

Voting Members in attendance included: Art Mory, Kenny Lee, DJ Schoneweis, Mary Rosas,
Stacey Welch
Staff in attendance included: Mara McGee, Karolyn Havener
Guests in attendance included: Beverly Byers
Members not in attendance: John Barnes
Approval of minutes:
February, March and April minutes were distributed for corrections and approval.
– Decision was made to table approvals pending corrections.
– Notes will be distributed and made available for online approval
Staff Reports
Children’s Learning Center Report was presented by Karolyn Havener
Youth & Family Ministries report was presented by Mara Welch
Financial Reports were presented by Bev Byers
Communications Report was presented by Art Mory for Julia Bessler
Trustee Reports
Board of Ministry Report was presented by DJ Schoneweis
Property Report was presented by Mary Rosas
– Motion made by D.J Schoneweis, seconded by Kenny Lee, to execute the cancel
clause at the pastor apartment and use it per restriction until end of lease. The
motion carried with 5 yea’s and 0 nay’s.
Call Committee Report
– Nothing to report from the call committee, no additional profiles have arrived.
– We did come up with some survey-like questions and also determined who would be on
the first interview.
Motion made by D.J Schoneweis, seconded by Mary Rosas, to accept reports as-is. The motion
carried with 5 yea’s and 0 nay’s.
Minutes for All Saints Church Council
Old Business
– Facility use
o Motion made by Mary Rosas, seconded by Art Mory, to only allow weddings in our
church for members and immediate family. The motion carried with 5 yea’s and 0
nay’s.
Online Motions
– On Sunday, May 1, 2022 there was a motion made via email by Art Mory, seconded by John
Barnes, that All Saints gift Pastor Baker $10,000 from Pastors Salary account to be paid out
via direct deposit. The motion carried with 5 yea’s in favor and 0 nay’s against.
New Business
– Motion made by Art Mory, seconded by Kenny Lee, to resume in person only meetings
beginning in September, 2022. The motion was tabled for further discussion.
– Motion made by Mary Rosas, seconded by Kenny Lee to have prayer list policy updated.
Prayer list will be printed in the bulletin, and referenced in the Prayers of the Church during
Worship. Motion passed with 5 yea’s and 0 nay’s
Announcements
– Supply Pastor Pay is confirmed to be $220 plus mileage.
– Current Supply Pastor schedule is attached
– Art Mory announced that, assuming we have a pastor by year end, he will resign as Praise
Team Leader effective December 31, 2022.

Stacey Welch moved that the meeting be adjourned at 8:10 pm.
