Minutes for All Saints Church Council
Call to Order
A monthly meeting of the All Saints Church Council was held on June 16, 2022 at All Saints
Lutheran Church. The meeting was presided over by John Barnes, Council President. A quorumwas declared by John Barnes.
Attendees
Voting Members in attendance included: John Barnes, Art Mory, Kenny Lee, DJ Schoneweis,
Mary Rosas, Stacey Welch
Staff in attendance included: Mara McGee, Karolyn Havener
Approval of minutes:
February, March April and May minutes were distributed for corrections and approval.
– Motion made by D.J. Schoneweis, seconded by Mary Rosas, to approve February,
March April and May minutes with corrections. The motion carried with 6 yea’s in
favor and 0 nays against.
Staff Reports
Youth & Family Ministries report was presented by Mara Welch
Children’s Learning Center Report was presented by Karolyn Havener
Financial Reports were presented by Kenny Lee
Trustee Reports
Board of Ministry Report was presented by DJ Schoneweis
Property Report was presented by Mary Rosas
– Motion made by Kenny Lee, seconded by Mary Rosas, to accept board reports. The
motion carried with 6 yea’s in favor and 0 nay’s against.
New Business
– Motion made by Art Mory, seconded by Mary Rosas, to accept Ginya Anderson as
secretary elect. The motion carried with 6 yea’s in favor and 0 nay’s against.
Minutes for All Saints Church Council
Announcements
– No new profiles have been submitted for the Pastor position. At the suggestion of the
NALC, the Call Committee will meet to update our profile summary paragraph
– Council was updated on a situation with one of our visitors. We are acting on the advice
provided by the District Dean, Pastor Mark Braaten
– Mara Welch announced she is expecting. Council offered congratulations and began a
discussion on maternity benefits for Mara.
– July Meeting moved to 28th due to VBS
