God’s Gifts for God’s Purposes
“Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel.” (Philippians 1:27 ESV)
Dear friends,
This week, we begin a sermon series called “God’s Gifts for God’s Purposes.” We focus on the Psalm for each Sunday, as each psalm brings out a God-ordained purpose for us as his people. When we align our lives with God’s purposes, our “manner of life [is] worthy of the gospel of Christ.” During this series, I pray that the Holy Spirit will open our hearts and minds to his purposes for us, that we might better steward ourselves and our resources for him.
