Minutes for All Saints Church Council
Call to Order
A monthly meeting of the All Saints Church Council was held on August 18, 2022 at All Saints
Lutheran Church. The meeting was presided over by John Barnes, Council President. A quorum was declared by John Barnes.

Absent Members: Mary Rosas
Staff in attendance included: Mara McGee
Guest in attendance: Bev Byers
Approval of minutes:
Motion made by Kenny Lee, seconded by D.J. Schoneweis, to approve July minutes. The motion carried with 6 yea’s in favor and 0 nays against.
Staff Reports
Youth & Family Ministries report was presented by Mara Welch
Children’s Learning Center Report was presented by John Barnes
Financial Reports were presented by Bev Byers
Trustee Reports
Board of Ministry Report was presented by DJ Schoneweis
Property Report was presented by Mary Rosas
– Proposals on lighting will be reviewed at September meeting
– Art to follow-up with Mary on Kitchen Stove
Motion made by Art Mory, seconded by John Barnes, to accept July Board reports. The motion carried with 6 yea’s in favor and 0 nay’s against.
Old Business

– Supply Pastor Schedule filled through September
– Hispanic church is doing better at cleaning up facility after they use
Minutes for All Saints Church Council
New Business
– Tarrant County Health Department let us know they have people and displays to
help organizations communicate Covid information. Art will ask for display material
for the atrium.
Announcements
– Bev noted the NALC Women’s Conference was good. DJ agreed.
Executive Session
A Motion was made by Art, seconded by John, for the Council to go into Executive Session. The motion carried with 6 yea’s in favor and 0 nay’s against.
– Purpose of Executive Session was to discuss 2023 Budget recommendations

A Motion was made by Art, seconded by John, for the Council to go out of Executive Session.
The motion carried with 5 yea’s in favor and 0 nay’s against.

A Motion was made by Art, seconded by John, for the meeting to adjourn. The motion carried
with 6 yea’s in favor and 0 nay’s against. John Barnes closed in prayer.
